WHOLE LOTTA LOVE

WHOLE LOTTA LOVE

I Corinthians 13:13: Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

In response to Valentine’s Day, February is well known for Love. Do we (collectively as a human race) really know what Love is, or what it should be? In Living by the Light of the Moon published in 2024, Chapter XIII: Love Exchange attempts to shed a different light upon the meaning we have come to accept as Love. If given some thought, Love involves an exchange of something, usually something treasured, cherished or of benefit, between two people, or I guess you could also say between two things. Scripture is not referencing ooey-gooey physical feelings in I Corinthians. The application of the instructions in the verse goes much deeper than the simple, lust-driven definition accepted in these days and times. As Valentine’s Day is recognized, know that “Love” is much more than chocolate, flowers or romantic feelings. God is another name for Love and God supplies the mysterious, formless, unseen elements needed for our heart to beat. One person can carry and share with another that same formless element described as “God”, no verbal or physical transactions necessary. During this month of Love, remember to give recognition to the source that provides what is necessary for your heartbeat!
In Abundant Love, Jill
